Product Description

sc brake conversion kit for Dana 25/27 closed knuckles axles. This kit is designed to work with 15" stock Jeepster rims that came with drum brakes and requires no grinding to the knuckle. Will fit early Willys 16" x 4 1/2" rims as well, but not early CJ3B 15" x 4 1/2" skinny rims without longer wheel studs and 1/2" wheel spacer (not provided).

This kit saves you money by re-using your current wheel hub, wheel bearings, races and wheel bearing spindle hardware. The kit includes new wheel bearing grease seals so you can service the wheel bearings before putting back together.

You need to check the back of the wheel hub to ensure it is flat and not rounded, as it needs to lay flat on the rotor and have the pressed studs hold it together. Call me if you have questions about this.

You will have to press in the new wheel studs into your current wheel hubs, holding the new rotor. All the parts are furnished, as well as detailed instructions.

Wear parts in this kit are over the counter parts that can be purchased at any auto parts store. Part numbers for these parts will be included in the kit, as well as the vehicles that use these parts. No grinding necessary to the knuckles with this kit.

Adjusting the steering stops or trimming the passenger side bump stop may be required to eliminate contact with the passenger caliper (in directions)

Kit includes detailed mounting instructions, 2 - 7/8" rotors, 2 seals, 1/4" aluminum wheel spacers set (most factory wheels fit without this, but just in case), 2 standard rubber brake lines, 2 caliper mounting brackets, 2 loaded calipers with pads and hanger brackets, 10 wheel lug nuts, 10 wheel lug studs with heavier knurl to fit tightly after you press out your old wheel studs, 2 banjo bolts, all the mounting hardware needed to install this kit.
